The Business Planning Bootcamp was created to help new & established sweet business owners with developing a marketing strategy for their sweet businesses. This class will help new entrepreneurs start off on the right foot as it relates to branding and marketing their company.
We will work through definitions, questions, checklists & other tools that will help you (1) understand how to brand your business, (2) define your brand message, (3) narrow down your target audience, and (4) develop actionable marketing steps that will help you grow your sweet business.
This course will also help established sweet entrepreneurs understand how to reshape/redefine their existing brand image. If you already have an image for your business that you’ve been developing for years, this class is not designed to tell you to scrap everything! Instead, we will help you make adjustments to your brand and marketing strategies to help keep the look of your company new & fresh.
Features & Benefits
Industry Specific Guidance
Sweet Fest® is a business services company that focuses only on supporting the business needs of the Baking & Sweet Community. There are tons of business coaches & consultants teaching decent general marketing strategy content, but very few offer specific marketing guidance for the baking & sweets industry, like Sweet Fest®.
Imagine how valuable it would be to have your very own business coach tell you exactly what you were doing right or wrong in your marketing strategy. Now, imagine if you could be a fly on the wall when that coach provides detailed feedback to your peers. Yeah...so that's a key component of this seminar...and yes, even during the ONLINE class! Online students will have the opportunity to share their thoughts via video or written chat.
Customized Marketing Plan
The ultimate goal of this seminar is to help bakers & sweet makers create a road map with actionable marketing steps that will help you grow your sweet business. If you are new to the industry or you've been around for years, this class is meant to help you develop a clear(er) vision for your business. Want a food truck? We'll discuss what that even looks like and what all you will need to consider. Want to focus only on wedding cakes? We'll discuss if that makes sense for your market and community.
Additional Support Materials
Although we will cover a TON of information in this seminar, it is a guarantee that you will leave the seminar with homework. This seminar is designed to guide and inspire you to think outside of the box as it relates to your business. It is not possible for you to leave the class with all the answers, because you WILL come up with questions you never even thought of while in the class. Therefore, you will be provided with additional tools that will serve as supplemental support after we've said our goodbyes.
Sweet Business Coach
Cydni N. Mitchell (a.k.a. Cyd) is the founder of www.thesweetfest.com, a global online directory designed to connect Sweet Lovers with local Sweet Makers. Since its launch, Sweet Fest™ has experienced a phenomenal 800% growth on social media without the use of online advertisements.
As a former Apple, Inc. employee, Cyd has drawn on her background in technology and analytics to develop her own proven strategies for growth on social media. As a result, she has been able to pass on the "secrets" of her success to sweet entrepreneurs via conference discussions and online webinars.
By trade, Cyd is an accountant & financial analyst with a Masters from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Cyd has worked closely with many of the Sweet Makers on her site to help them develop and successfully implement their own social media marketing strategies, re-branding initiatives, business plan remodeling, and more.
There are tons of resources available to help sweet entrepreneurs develop their baking talents, but the goal of Sweet Fest® is to help Sweet Makers with running the business side of their sweet businesses. Cyd's philosophy is that there "must be a balance between a delicious product & a solid business/marketing strategy. No sweet business will be successful without having both in place." Cyd & Sweet Fest® are here to provide you with the keys to obtaining that balance and ultimately be successful in business.
On a personal note, Cyd is a self-taught web and graphic designer. She resides in Atlanta, GA where she enjoys binging on Hulu & Netflix, trying out new sweet spots in the city, and spending time with friends & family.
